After the cancellation of class 12 exams by cbse and most state boards, students are now eagerly waiting for the admission process to begin for undergraduate programmes.

Reports suggest the government is looking at conducting a centralised common entrance test for admission to various universities in the july-august period from this academic session onwards…

The common entrance test could be like the joint entrance exam (jee) and the national eligibility and entrance test (neet), for admission to non-technical programmes at the undergraduate level.

Marks secured in this entrance test will be considered for admission to all central universities across the country, as per reports.

If the government gives a go ahead, the common entrance test for college admissions will be conducted by the national testing agency (nta), which is tasked with conducting a number of such exams, including those for medical and engineering courses…
