सम्मान के साथ मौत यानि पैसिव यूथनेशिया मामले में सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने एक अहम फैसला सुनाया है। सुप्रीम कोर्ट की पांच सदस्यों वाली संविधान पीठ ने कहा है सम्मान के साथ जीने की तरह ही सम्मान से मरना भी किसी भी व्यक्ति का अधिकार है। सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने इसके साथ ही लिविंग विल की भी अनुमति दी है।

Supreme Court of India has held that right to die with dignity is a right equal to the Right to live with dignity. In a landmark judgement the Constitutional Bench of the Supreme Court also held that living will is also legally valid. The Court has issued detailed guidelines in this regard.
