About ETHANOL 100

Ethanol 100 presents a more environmentally friendly fuel alternative, consisting of a blend comprising 92-94% ethanol, 4-5% motor spirit, and 1.5% Co-solvent higher saturated alcohol. This formulation results in a reduction of greenhouse gas emissions by approximately 63% and is particularly well-suited for high-performance engines, thanks to its elevated octane rating. Furthermore, its widespread use contributes to substantial savings in foreign exchange.
What is Ethanol Blending Program?

The Ethanol Blending Program in India endeavors to encourage the incorporation of ethanol into gasoline, thereby diminishing reliance on fossil fuels and alleviating environmental consequences. This initiative offers incentives for ethanol production and blending, aiming to attain a 20% ethanol blending rate in petrol by 2025-26, as outlined in the National Policy on Biofuel-2018.
